Sunday School

Sunday school brings back great childhood memories for many people. Fortunately, at Franklin Road Baptist Church, a vibrant Sunday school class is not a thing of the past. We have Sunday school every week for every age group where people can learn about God and how He wants us to live our lives. The Sunday school program is a vital teaching arm of the Church and it gives us a great place to fellowship and to serve with other believers.

Young Singles – Journey

Here at FRBC we believe that no person should go through life alone. The community around us is filled with thousands of young singles from college age through their late 20’s. Our desire is to give every single person the chance to meet people their age, build meaningful and lasting friendships, grow in their relationship with Christ, and serve other people in the church and the community.

Young Couples - Hand in Hand

The “future” of FRBC is truly in the hands of our young couples as they rear their families. Here in our Hand in Hand class, you will receive practical information on how to walk with God individually so you can walk with Him as a family, hand in hand. From marital helps to child rearing and financial advice, you and your spouse will learn and grow together.

Middle Adults - Couples 4 Christ

The word busy doesn’t begin to describe the stage you are at in your life right now. With all you have happening, at the speed of life, you need a “compass” that allows you to realign yourself and your family on a weekly basis. Our Couples for Christ class is designed to keep your focus on the Lord Jesus Christ so that you can maintain a proper perspective on your marriage, children and career.

Empty Nesters - Friendship Class

As we move through the seasons of life, one of the most challenging can be the Empty Nest. You’ve devoted nearly all of your adult life to providing for, educating and preparing your precious ones for life. Now, you find yourself asking the question, “what do I do now?” Through the years you’ve given and given, now its time to take care of yourself and your partner in life spiritually, physically and emotionally. Let’s get back to nurturing and fulfilling the one God gave us in the beginning of our marriage so we can effectively pray for our families and plan for our future.

Seniors Saints - Crusader Class

Pro 20:29 The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the gray head. The Bible has much to say about the latter years of our lives and what God expects of us. Our Crusader Class is taught by our Pastor and is made up of Senior Saints who are enjoying the best years of their life. We would love for you to join us on one of our many activities or special trips but most importantly we would like to see you this Sunday morning in our Crusader’s Class.

Ladies - Kings Daughters

The Bible is filled with stories of strong women who lived fulfilling lives serving God and their communities. We believe God has a specific, specialized plan for your life…right now. As we seek Him together each week, God’s loving plan and purpose for our lives will become more clear and fulfilling than ever.

Senior Ladies - Faith Fellowship

Under the inspiration o f the Holy Spirit, the Apostle Paul said, “That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.” Of course we know that he was referring to women of experience, maturity and strength. Our Faith Fellowship class is a place for like minded women. It’s a place of encouragement, friendship and opportunity to serve God by serving those He has placed in our path.

Men - Masters Men

While God doesn’t “need” any of us, He chooses to use “men”. While the World around us gages men by the physical prowess or the balance in their checkbook, God has a different standard…his heart. Our Masters Men class is a place where you will grow as a man, a friend and a faithful servant. You will learn how to become a better man than you are right now and what man doesn’t want that? You will be taught from the Bible, how to be a man of influence, how to bless your pastor and how to strengthen and encourage everyone you meet.

Firm Foundation – Discipleship

Regardless of whether you are a brand new Christian or you have walked with God for many years, the truths of God’s Word must be deeply planted in our hearts. Our Firm Foundation class begins with the most basic principles of Christian living and extends to more complex areas all the while standing firmly on the Word of God as our guide. This class begins new sessions throughout the year so you are able to get this valuable training without permanently leaving your class. Graduates from this class receive a certificate of achievement and are equipped to disciple others.

Reformers Unanimous

Reformers Unanimous is a Christ centered addictions program that uses the power of God’s Word to break the chains of addiction. Our RU Sunday School class is designed to reinforce the teaching and training at our Friday night RU program. Here you will receive specific information that will help you understand God’s Word and the role it must play in your life as a committed Christian. You will enjoy fellowship with teachers and class members who understand what you’ve been through and what you’re going through right now.
