Purpose

The overall purpose of Franklin Road Baptist Church is to bring glory and honor to God, to bring people to Jesus Christ and help them grow to be more like Him, and then duplicate the process in others.

• Love God - As believers, we should constantly worship God for who He is and what He has done for us. We worship Him through personal fellowship, obedience, testimony, and song.

• Love the Lost - The core focus of FRBC is to evangelize and reach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to fulfill the great commission, we must be reaching the world around us for Christ.

Matthew 28:19 - "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

• Love God’s Word - We believe that every believer should have a desire to be more like Christ. In order to accomplish this, believers must learn about His character through a personal relationship with God and His Word. We learn these truths and doctrines through sound Bible preaching and teaching, which will help us grow and develop into vessels that God can use for Christ.

Matthew 28:20 - "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you."

• Love Each Other - God gave everyone special talents to be used for His Glory. We try to provide opportunities where people can serve and minister to the body of Christ. We are also to encourage and edify each other in the Lord. This fellowship is an important part of any local church as it helps to create unity and love among fellow believers.
